MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Carter's Valley Volunteer Fire Dept. is  "To manage our community funds and dedicate ourselves to the protection of life and property in the community for which we serve.  Through fire prevention and public education, we can improve our relations in the public eye.  We are here to provide the best possible Fire Suppression, Fire Prevention, and Hazardous Materials response to the citizens and businesses of the Carter's Valley area.  Through education in specialized skills, and by taking lessons learned from those before us, and having mastered these skills, we will train those who shall follow.  We will contiouously train and practice our basic firefighting and advanced skills so our image may never be tarnished.  When the time comes, we will be able to answer any call without hesitation, and perform any task successfully; because it will be with our skills, knowledge, confindence, and pride, that we, the Members of the Carter's Valley Volunteer Fire Dept., can and will provide the best service possible to the citizens which we have sworn to protect."
